Since 2010, we have sent over 200 students to high school and 30 to university.
Making education accessible in our community
In Mexico, students and their families are responsible for a portion of their school fees when they enter high school. What this often means is that those who aren’t able to afford it, simply stop attending. The school fees cover transport, textbooks, and school administration costs. With $300 per year, we are able to cover one student fully in high school.
La Ventana and the surrounding areas have become a mecca for windsport lovers and the landscape of career and future for those living here has changed drastically.
By creating a scholarship fund, we are able to give back in a lasting way to this community that has given us so much.
100% of your donations go directly to student scholarships, rather than to administrative costs
We have very low administration costs, all of which are covered by a a few private businesses - this is to ensure that 100% of public donations go directly to students in need - to cover their textbooks, transportation and school administrative fees.
This town is our home - we want the kids of our community to thrive

Students are provided with a scholarship for their entire high school career
