New Beginnings

Amigos de Alumnos has been supporting students in La Ventana since 2010. With over 200 high school scholarships and 35 university scholarships, it has been incredible to be part of and to see the change it has made in our community of La Ventana and El Sargento (and surrounding areas). As the community is growing and changing, so must we. This year we are undertaking many exciting new changes. With our first logo ever, our first website, new donors and new volunteers - we are hoping to continue increasing the number of scholarships we are able to offer.

We want to put a huge thank you out to Tim and his team at Palapas Ventanas. For years, they have supported us through the Ventana Classic, through the ability to use their non-profit status and countless other ways. The time has come that we are pursuing our own non-profit status and starting to grow under the name of Amigos de Alumnos. That said, our appreciation to Tim and his family and team is unending and we know we will continue to work together with a passion for education in this community.
